The Worship Mission is responsible for creating a spiritually uplifting setting conducive to Christian Worship. Regular and special worship experiences should be planned, in consultation with the minister, to develop the worship theme of that particular occasion. Every element of worship should be designed to achieve spiritual enrichment and commitment for the worshipper.

General Responsibilities

1. See that the sanctuary is properly prepared for each worship experience.
   1. Ensure proper placement of hymn books, bulletins, floral arrangements, etc.
   2. That any special equipment or supplies are in place.
2. Be responsible for designing and developing order and elements of worship.
3. Nominate appropriate people to the church board to serve as organist, pianist and Choir Director and oversee their participation in the worship program.
4. Provide guidance and materials encouraging personal mediation and devotion for membership.
5. Maintain and encourage use of the Prayer Room.
6. Schedule annual observance of Youth Sunday and Laity Sunday. Cooperate with Mission of Education in designing Youth Sunday Service.
7. Secure a replacement minister to serve during the minister's absence.
8. Be responsible for special observances such as Easter, Christmas, etc.
