Recognizing that the material structures of church properties serve the spiritual needs of the people who use them, the Church Properties Mission is charged with the sacred responsibility of supervising their use and overseeing maintenance.

General Responsibilities

1. Be sensitive to the program needs of all missions, and, so far as possible, provide properties to serve those needs.
2. Maintain all properties in good condition.
3. Anticipate repair and replacement needs of all properties and so inform church board.
4. Secure (with Board approval) custodial help as needed and supervise their work.
5. Make recommendations to the church board of any additional facilities needed.
6. See that adequate insurance is carried on all church properties.
